ACQUITTAL: After week-long federal jury trial in Dallas alleging "white collar" fraud by client, who was facing lengthy and certain imprisonment, trial judge granted attorney Rob Herrington's motion for judgment of ACQUITTAL notwithstanding adverse jury verdict.

NOT GUILTY: A client of attorney Rob Herrington was charged with assault against a family member Collin County, Texas. Evidence included photographs of "victim's" injuries and of paramedics who had strapped her to a stretcher to carry her to waiting ambulance. Jury returned verdict of NOT GUILTY.

NOT GUILTY: Mexican client of attorney Rob Herrington was charged in Collin County with giving false or fictitious information to a police officer. After presenting expert testimony of Mexican customs regarding use of last names, client was found NOT GUILTY after a trial before the court.

NOT GUILTY: A former postal worker, represented by Attorney Rob Herrington, was charged with assault against his manager. After a jury trial in federal court, client was found NOT GUILTY notwithstanding photographic evidence of "victim's" extensive facial injuries.

REVERSED: A client was charged by indictment with unlawful possession of ammunition by a previously convicted felon. Client entered conditional plea of guilty in federal district court, but resulting judgment of conviction was REVERSED by federal court of appeals who ordered the case remanded with instructions to DISMISS the indictment. Client was represented in district court and on appeal by Attorney Rob Herrington.

DISMISSED: Mexican client was indicted in federal court with felony offense of illegal re-entry after deportation. After investigation into client's family background, Attorney Rob Herrington persuaded United States Attorney to dismiss case. Following motion by the government, the District Court ordered that the case be DISMISSED.

NOT GUILTY: In Collin County, Texas, a client was charged with assault against his ex-wife. The only non-party witness to the incident supported the "victim's" version of events and testified for the prosecution. After a jury trial, client was found NOT GUILTY.

REVERSED: War-scarred citizen of Eritrea applied for political asylum in the United States. After application denied by the Immigration Judge on grounds of "firm resettlement" in Saudi Arabia before entering the United States, the Board of Immigration Appeals REVERSED the decision of the Immigration Judge, resulting in grant of asylum to client.

GRANTED: Clients from Iran, husband and wife, applied for citizenship in the United States. Due to medical issues, both applicants were unable to pass the customary requirements to learn the English language. Clients filed lawsuit against the United States demanding waiver of the language requirement. Medical records for both clients were obtained and submitted to immigration officials. Waiver GRANTED and clients were naturalized as citizens less than two weeks later. Clients were represented in federal court and in negotiations with Immigration service by Attorney Rob Herrington.

REFUSED: Juvenile client charged with aggravated sexual assault in juvenile court in Collin County. Represented by Attorney Rob Herrington, client released from custody on personal recognizance. After investigation and request by attorney Rob Herrington, case was later REFUSED for prosecution by District Attorney's Office.

PROBATION: Client charged in federal court with conspiracy to defraud insurance company by staging fake auto accident. Represented by Attorney Rob Herrington, client was sentenced to PROBATION after contested sentencing hearing. Client was facing certain imprisonment under then-mandatory sentencing guidelines but for court's finding, upon argument of Attorney Herrington, that the client did not use "sophisticated means" as claimed by the government.
